GibGames Player and Administrator Rules

Counter-Strike

Team Fortress Classic

Day Of Defeat

Unreal Tournament

Counter-Strike

Player Rules:

  1. Cheaters are not allowed. Any modification or exploit of the game (be it client or server vulnerabilities) are not allowed. These include, but are not limited to: custom models, skins, wall hacks, speed hacks or aim-bots, etc.
  2. Players that skywalk will be warned to stop. If skywalking persists, the player will be kicked. If the player returns and continues to skywalk, that player will be banned for a period of 1440 minutes.
  3. Players idling as an unassigned or spectator modes will be kicked if no action is taken within one full round to allow room for active players.
  4. Players that are AFK may be kicked to make room for active players.
  5. Players who repeat the same line (voice or text) various times within a short period time (advertisements included) and make other players incapable of communication will be considered a spammer, and that player will be kicked. The return of the player is authorized. If the spamming persists, the player will be banned for a period of 1440 minutes.
  6. Frequently disruptive or rude players will be kicked. If disruptiveness persists, the player will be banned for a period of 1440 minutes. Sabotaging the game will be considered disruptive behavior.
  7. Players have the right to type what they like in the chat feature, as long as the text does not become offensive or disruptive.
  8. Players have the right to speak what they like in the voice feature, as long as the voice does not become offensive or disruptive.
  9. Players arguing over a specific nickname must both change their nicks, unless the true nick holder is otherwise known.
  10. Players have the right to spray paint what they like.
  11. Players have the right to camp.

Admin Rules:

  1. Administrators may kick the last player on the users list in order to make room for themselves only.
  2. Administrators may not kick any other players unless one of the players' rules are broken.
  3. Administrators must kick anyone suspected of cheating. Cheating cannot be discovered for certain; thus, Administrators must use their best judgment to decide whether a player is cheating or not. This may include asking the opinions of other players, as well as watching the player for a few rounds. If the player adamantly denies cheating, that player will be asked to leave without a ban. If the player does not leave, and the cheating is still suspected, the player will then be banned. Banning a player for cheating is an indefinite ban, therefore the ban time will be 0. (i.e. rcon banid 0 [wonid])
  4. Administrators that discover definite cheaters are required to ban that player indefinitely.
  5. Administrators are NOT allowed to reveal any game play information over the public 'say' feature.
  6. Administrators may change a map during the first five (5) minutes or the last five (5) minutes of a map; the admin must be present on the server for at least one map rotation. Any other map changes must be agreed upon by more than 50% of the players. Any map changes must be made after the current round.
  7. Administrators must play like regular players, and may not use their power as means to overpower another player (disputes, battles, etc.).
  8. Server settings may not be changed without the authorization of the server manager.
  9. Administrators found breaking these rules will be reported to GibGames and be issued a warning. Persistent breaking of the rules will entail the removal of all rcon privileges.
  10. Administrators may be let go at any time.
